MICHELE TAGLIAFERRI
1980, Piombino, Italy
After graduating in Software Engineering, in 2005 he moved to Spain, at which time he approached photography. In 2007 he entered in Blank Paper School where he studied photography for two years and where he was professor from 2012 to 2017.
His first short essay, Mapa, was published as a fanzine in 2011, thanks to a prize awarded at the International Festival of Photography Emergent Lleida. At the same time, he had his first solo show in The Private Space Gallery in Barcelona.
Grass, published by Dalpine in 2015, was his first book. Grass was awarded in 2016 as Mention du jury at the Prix Levallois in 2016 and exhibited in several both national and international festival around Europe. Among the exhibitions we can mention the solo shows at Blank Paper Madrid, at Temple Gallery in Paris and at PhotoEspaña Festival in Madrid.
